英：Dear classmates, as we all known, English , the most widely used international language all over the world, is playing an increasingly important part in our life. Seventeen percent of E-mails in the world are written by English. Sixty percent of program in the world are using English.Most of datum in the international are published in English.It's the first common language in most international ceremony and it's also one of the formal language in the United Nations.In a word, English is an important communication way in international politics, military, economy, technology, culture, trade and transportation.English is the bridge of our communication, and a magic weapon for our growth.
中：同学们，英语是当今世界上主要的国际通用语言之一，也是世界上最广泛使用的语言，英语的使用范围非常广泛。世界上70%以上的邮件是用英文写的。全世界的广播节目中，有60%是用英语进行的，国际上的资料绝大部分是用英语发表的。绝大部分的国际会议是以英语为第一通用语言,它也是联合国的正式工作语言之一。总之，在国际政治、军事、经济、科技、文化、贸易、交通运输等领域，英语是一个重要的交际工具；同学们，英语是我们沟通的桥梁，是我们莘莘学子成长的法宝。
